Since its founding in 1982, the BMW Car Club of New Zealand has proudly served as a national hub for BMW enthusiasts. As a non‑profit organisation with a long and rich heritage, our mission has always been to bring people together members, friends, and families alike through shared passion, knowledge, and unforgettable experiences with the BMW marque.

Our club spans the entire country, uniting members from all regions of New Zealand. Whether it’s a social meetup, a driving event, a technical session, or simply enjoying good company, our activities are designed to foster camaraderie, create lasting friendships, and deepen everyone’s enjoyment of their BMW.

We are honoured to be supported by BMW Group New Zealand and to be officially recognised as a BMW Club. As a proud member of the BMW Clubs International Council—established in 1977 to champion and connect clubs around the world—we stand alongside an international community committed to celebrating the BMW legacy.

Family Membership: Bring the Whole Garage!

We know that a passion for the "Ultimate Driving Machine" is often a family affair. Our Family Membership is designed to include your partner and your children under one subscription, ensuring everyone can enjoy club track days, social runs, and events.

Who is covered?

• Spouse/Partner: Full access to club benefits and events.

• Dependents: Children under the age of 18 who are currently living at home.

Please Note: To maintain the integrity of our membership structure and voting rights, once a child turns 18 or moves out of the family home, they are required to transition to their own Individual Membership. This ensures they receive their own copies of the Dixi magazine and hold their own individual standing within the Club.
